Technology is always progressing. Last year I saw this great video from Gorilla Glass manufacturer Corning about the technology of Touch Screen that really blew me out : A Day Made Of Glass

And then the annual CES 2012, Samsung release this great applicable technology to a window :

I mean, wow! This technology can really help us out in many aspect : medical, daily life, etc. It still has problems, like enormous amount of bandwidth it needed and so on. But I think it will happen in the near future.

Yet, like every other technology, this will open new opportunity for criminal too, or maybe some abuse that will damage its benefit. I hope human can handle this.

Ace Project

Yesterday, I found this free project management tool on the net. AceProject is a web-based project management software for businesses of all sizes. It’s been around since 2001, and still survive until now, so it must be at least dependable. Signing up is easy and free. You can get full feature for free with some limitation.

Features

It has all feature of project management, from the initiation phase, until project delivery. You should try for yourself for this features. Besides, the performance of AceProject is quite good. I don’t really know if it’s just me or it really is faster than several other web application. It’s always a good thing to be faster. And what differs from another project management tool that I know is that the application can be branded. It means we can add our own logo and adapt colors to our corporate image. Plus, in my opinion, AceProject has a good user interface. It makes me easily adapt to its functions.

Mobile

Nowadays, everything is mobile. The trend for mobile application is rising. And it’s a good thing AceProject have a mobile version. Just like its good performance in desktop browser, It also runs well in mobile device. I can  manage my project right on my smartphone, or on my tablet. To access the mobile version, simply add /m to your account’s login page (for example: demo.aceproject.com/m/).

Conclusion

I don’t do project management anymore in the moment, but, in the future, if someone ask me to do that, I will definitely use this tool.
