Augmented (hyper)Reality: Domestic Robocop [With Video]

It’s always fun to peek our future. Imagine how far technology can go and influence our daily life. Yesterday, i post a good article about how we can  bring computer closer to our daily life using Sixth Sense Technology developed by Pranav Mistry, from MIT. It will happen on a near future.

And today i found this great video from vimeo that enlight a future vision by Keiichi Matsuda , as part of his Masters’ program at the Bartlett School of Architecture. The video was created for his final year Masters in Architecture, as “part of a larger project about the social and architectural consequences of new media and augmented reality.” Explaining the work Keiichi writes:

“The latter half of the 20th century saw the built environment merged with media space, and architecture taking on new roles related to branding, image and consumerism. Augmented reality may recontextualise the functions of consumerism and architecture, and change in the way in which we operate within it.”
