Color Picker is an innovative design of a concept pen that can scan colors from anything around and instantly use the color for drawing. After placing the pen against an object, the user just presses the scan button. The color is being detected by the color sensor and the RGB cartridge of the pen mixes the required inks to create the target color. This superb device will help people to observe the changing colors of nature. Withcolor picker, all range of artists will be able to cerate a more sensorial and visual insight of their surrounding nature’s colors.

The Color Picker pen by Jinsu Park is a drawing device that allows you to write or draw in any color you can scan with the pen’s color sensor. The concept is that you hold the Color Picker up to an object, push a button, and presto! it mixes the right amounts of pigment to match the color you’ve found.
Sadly, currently the Color Picker pen is only conceptual, and does not actually exist in working form quite yet. However we have a feeling that should this bad boy ever hit the market, it could be revolutionary; like having a Photoshop color match in your hand. Imagine the possibilities…

keren banged ya….jdi ndk usah beli pensil wrna yg mahal xD
Betul! Doakan saja desain ini bisa terealisasikan
Dan smoga tidak boros tinta :p
This is really interesting.
The color sensor will need a calibrated light source (that could be built in) and the pen will need (at least) CMYK inks. RGB only works with light-emitting color sources. Reflective light sources require subtractive colors.
